EETimes.com reports that Sony is stepping up its production of the chips for the PS2. As you know, the PS2 has been plagued by horrible shortages and a lack-luster set of titles, and has still managed to be the most talked about device out there, wiping the P4 and Napster right off the front pages.
I can’t say that I’m a fan of Sony, but I’d rather have them than Microsoft providing my entertainment. Anyways, I’m going to wait for a decent library of games to come out before I consider laying down $300 plus accessories for one of these bad boys.
