Digital signatures: kosher.
Until now, written signatures were the only absolute form of agreeing to legal documents in business, but that has changed in Europe. Now, digital signatures, including those via e-mail, are legally binding. Apparently, similar legislation was passed in the US some nine months ago, and though I remember the proposal, I didn’t know it had passed.
