Regular readers of this site may be familiar with my promotion of corporate-hounding journalist Russel Mohkiber and Robert Wiessman (you may, for example, remember when I got all uppity after they were banned for life from our Library of Congress for daring to question the Coca Cola company). Mohkiber, editor of the Coporate Crime Reporter and regular pain in the ass of White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, and Weissman, editor of the Multinational Monitor, have most recently written a particularly chilling piece on how “The fraud [of recent headline grabbing notoriety] occurred in the most heavily regulated and monitored area of corporate activity.” It gives one pause.
