Your ever-scheming big brother.

The only thing more annoying than constant plays on Orwellian terminology is the fact that real life mimics 1984 time and time again.

I’m not even sure what’s funnier – that a known liar is charging up a project to identify people with seedy goals, or that there’s really a guy named Poindexter.

This kind of story isn’t really new. Basically, someone thinks it’s a good idea to invade the privacy of others, and that everything one does that leaves behind a trail should be tracked, recorded, analyzed, and appropriate flags set accordingly.

The motto of this initiative: “Knowledge is power.” Which is why we’re happy to give you the knowledge about this kind of activity.

Protecting the public is all well and good, and no one in their right mind would be against it, but there’s certainly a line to be crossed. Speaking of which, why isn’t 1984 required reading in our school systems?
