Piggybacking yesterday’s announcement that I nixed the Techno-Ninjitsu article section comes another minimization move designed to shrink the navigation bar even more – the Politico section has now been retired, and the articles it contained were moved to the Bits and Pieces section.
Why all the minimization? Primarily, it’s a premature move predicting the lack of articles in the future, so rather than have many sparsely-populated sections, I figure it’s best to have less sections with more content inside. This, of course, makes room for more links on the navigation bar in the future, for when there’s a real need to have a category that gets populated fast.
