Daemon re-hosted.

by WyldKard on May 22, 2006

One of the first hosted files on mendax.org was Daemon, a public-domain sourcebook for White Wolf’s World of Darkness (WoD) roleplaying games. Though not part of mendax.org’s main page, a mini-site, Daemon Online, was dedicated to the work, existing under the /daemon/ subdirectory. As the official home of Daemon, the site was overlooked when one of the last renovations to mendax.org took place, and apparently was never restored.

I’ve since fixed the oversight, and brought Daemon back online, with an associated link on mendax.org’s main navigation bar. Rather than reside on a mini-site however, a brief blurb about the work can be found as a page on the main site, complete with a link to download a PDF of the supplement. Though Daemon is arguably outdated given that the WoD has third-edition campaigns now available, the heart of Daemon was in the concept, and its respective material should easily be adaptable to any changes the WoD rules have undergone.

02/12/2007 Update: The aforementioned article was relocated.
