I was reading some articles on-line this morning, when I stumbled across this little nugget of gold. According to the article, a man in a Pakistani prison woke up feeling discomfort in his ass. Upon inspection, the doctors discovered that he had a lightbulb crammed up his anus. *snicker* *cackle*

I didn’t know that waking up with a lightbulb inserted in one’s rearend was something I should be worried about! The best part is that the man claims to have no recollection of how the bulb got there. *snicker* Certainly, he should be able to shed some light on the subject. I’m expected to believe that a lightbulb is shoved into someone’s rectum and the person has no idea how it got there??? Something smells like gay to me!

This leads me to believe that Americans aren’t the only idiots in the world. It also makes me think that the media has absolutely nothing better to report. Forget that there’s a war happening in the Middle East! Let’s rather focus on a light bulb in a guy’s butt. Granted, this does provide a necessary comedic distraction from the war, but I’m wondering something. Who would ever grant an interview to world media about a foreign object being inserted in his/her crapshoot? And further more, how did the interviewer keep a straight face when interviewing the doctor and patient? All I can think of is that this belongs on The Daily Show.
