At first take, when I read about Flash games displayed via Opera on the Wii, I didn’t think much of it. After all, any console with a web browser could do the same thing. However, the ability to use a “wireless mouse” in the form of the Wii remote begins to add appeal to the idea of playing silly Flash games, which are already being compiled on a site based on their “Wii-friendly” nature.
Sadly, the Opera web browser isn’t available for the Wii yet. Nintendo is still waiting to unveil their non-Wii online components, and I’m still unaware of any online multiplayer games. Though, in a discussion with Calvin this morning, he brought up the idea of a headset with gyroscopes. Intriguing.
