Powerbooks without conventional power.
When the Apocalypse happens, by whatever means the fates deem necessary, it is unlikely that power outlets will serve up the juice our fancy toys need to survive. This poses a problem considering that the future out not be music free, so keeping our iPods running (and the computers we sync them up to) is a top priority.
On a more practical level, bringing a couple tech-toys camping or backpacking may require a source of power. Given that we are not all capable of building hydroelectric power plants when we hit the back-country, we may instead look to solar power to help us. Apparently, solar power can readily harness enough sun-juice to power laptops, albeit with some restrictions.
Until more efficient sun-ray capturing technologies come into existence, we can at least take some comfort in knowing that in the dark future ahead of us, our porn will still be mobile.
