After ruining the Star Wars franchise with the sad excuse of a prequel that was Episode One, and failing to rectify it with any real creativity, George Lucas distanced himself from all but the most zealous. Now, Lucas makes an even graver mistake, my claiming that Empires Strikes back was not the best of the series.
It’s almost as though the fake reality Lucas lives in is becoming more sinister by the second. Or, now an aging man, perhaps he is becoming so senile that he’s regressing into childhood, which explains all but a few moments in Episode Three.
