It sounds like there are a couple unlocking apps for the iPhone that no longer disable the YouTube application. For those of us who unlocked our phones early, however, we’ve had to deal with the disabled app, or restore our iPhones and unlock them again, which is nothing short of annoying. Fortunately, I finally found a guide on how to re-enable YouTube on OS X doing little else but replacing a couple files in one’s iPhone hierarchy.
With this fix made, my iPhone is fully functional under T-Mobile, with the only exception being the lack of visual voicemail, which is an AT&T “exclusive”. I can totally live without that, however.
